Definite to try. I can easily single knee hang on the top of a lyra, but I’ve never tried pushing it away from me at the same time.

…why don’t I look that pretty when I slump in my lyra?

Lyra lyra lyra lyra I WILL HAVE ONE WHEN I GET BACK TO PORTLAND OH MY GOD.
At some point I’ll stop the gleeful shouting about my future implement and actually write about my relationship with the apparatus, but for now I’m too easily excited by these pictures.

So bailey showed me a new move today, she calls it the anchor, you get into it from the o’clock splits but instead of 12.30 you put your legs at 12.45 then drop the arms down into a back arch. To get out you can roll over your shoulder and drop down to man in the moon. A nice simple combo but really pretty, I like it.

I love the liquid transitions- and the moments as she sets up for the neck hang at the end. The world passing by outside the studio just makes me feel all the more tied into the small world inside the hoop.
