This is a really worthwhile read. I maintain that one of the most transgressive things BDSM could actually do would be to actively subvert the dominant paradigms of race, class, gender, ect….which, of course, it has absolutely no interest in doing. Why be socially transgressive when you can whine about being marginalized as you defend your racist, sexist, classist practices to the death?
